Thank you so much for encouraging me to switch to a Harman wood pellet stove when I needed to replace my QuadraFire.

I love my little Harman! It's so quiet and puts out more heat than my old stove. I'm using fewer pellets to heat the house and I love not having to get down on my knees to empty the ash tray every two weeks. I ran the stove for three months before I needed to empty the bin! 

Now if I could just get it to mow the lawn, change light bulbs and fix flat tires...

 My wife and I purchased a home in Silver City several months ago.  The house had an old wood burning fireplace which we wanted to convert to a much more efficient gas insert.  There are only two real choices for this sort of project in this area.  A Better Chimney and a business in Las Cruces.  I had heard mixed reviews of the local store  (Better Chimney) so I checkout the establishment in Las Cruces.  Let's keep it simple and just say that I was not impressed on many levels.
I talked to James, the owner of the local concern and was treated with respect, given a number of options at a much better price, and found the Quadra brand that he handled to be of high quality.
The sale and install were done promptly and to a high standard at a significantly lower price than the Las Cruces option.  Buy local.  It worked for us.

 We bought a stove from A better chimney on Monday Nov 6 2017 they did not have the stove in stock at the time, They ordered it for us and installed it the very next day. The install crew was very knowledgeable and friendly and got the install done very fast. We have been using the Maxx M ever since, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a stove, and we would also recommend A Better Chimney to anyone for all your heating needs no questions asked.

After the first snow of this winter our pellet stove broke, We called A Better Chimney and Shawn and Matthew came out and got our stove up and running in about a hour. Thank you to the friendly and helpful crew at A Better Chimney.

Thanks to the team from A BETTER CHIMNEY in Silver City, NM for a job well done! We are very pleased with their installation of an efficient gas fireplace insert. Last winter, our first in Silver City, we realized that all of our heat was going up the chimney due to the open gas logs originally installed in our home so we relied entirely on a gas furnace for heat with the gas logs serving a purely decorative purpose. Glad to report that our home is now toasty warm with a nice place to cozy up to after being outside thanks to our new gas fireplace insert having a blower. So glad it has a thermostat too!
